Deco Lapis large pendant necklace
Geometry meets geology in this striking pendant. Lines inspired by Art Deco, the triangles and oval of the pendant's form, contrast with those inscribed by nature in the pendant's doublet (two stones superimposed). In the doublet, golden rutilations intersect a quartz dome that overlays the deep blue of the central lapis stone. Each hand-crafted doublet is chosen for its unique pattern. The pendant, suspended by three strands of chain, is constructed as a triangular box, to give a massive appearance and yet remain a comfortable weight.
Sterling silver, lapis lazuli, rutilated quartz. Each stone is hand-cut by a Montreal lapidary.
